This specialist resin and aggregate surface is a natural choice for large pedestrianised areas, access roads, tree pits and vehicular traffic. What is
resin bound surfacing?

Working to current industry guidance, resin bound surfacing involves mixing specially-developed graded kiln-dried aggregate with a UV stable two-part binding resin, so that every stone is fully coated. The mixture is then looted and applied by hand over a suitable sub-base or structurally sound existing surface, such as asphalt or concrete. The resulting surface is smooth, slip-resistant, permeable and durable, making it an ideal choice for clients looking for a sleek and practical alternative to asphalt surfacing. Resin bound surfaces are suitable for many applications, from pathways to access roads, serving all industries from public spaces and heritage sites, to commercial projects to large domestic driveways.

Fully SuDS compliant

Resin bound surfaces are porous and, when installed over a suitable subbase such as open-textured asphalt or no-fines concrete, they allow water to drain naturally into the ground rather than standing on the surface. This means that installing resin bound surfacing will limit the demand on your drainage systems by reducing water run-off. Plus, because of the lack of standing water, SuDS-compliant resin bound surfaces will reduce the risk of accidents caused by slipping or aquaplaning.
